5th Grade Field Trip to "River as a Classroom"

Mrs. Daley & Mr. Wholley's 5th grade students recently went on a field trip to "River Is a Classroom," by the National Park Services in Lowell. Students modeled polluted ground and surface water and then filtered the water.  Their classroom for the day was a pontoon boat on the Merrimack River! The students tested the river water's temperature, nitrate level, pH level, and oxygen level.
