There are myriad opportunities for students to participate in school activities other than athletics. Older students can run for Leadership team, and work to lead the student body in activities and service projects, or qualify to compete locally on our Academic Bowl teams.
Several school bands and choral groups, as well as instrument lessons, appeal to the musically-inclined. To understand how good our musicians are, please watch and listen to the 2019 Concert Band perform the theme to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Students also love to participate in our spring drama production. Our family Halloween Party/Dance and Christmas Parade float provide opportunities for seasonal fun. Information about various activities can be found in the Events and Activities Guide. We are proud of our students and thank them for sharing their unique talents with our school community.
Middle School Leadership
The middle school leadership team is active in community service, patriotic endeavors, school masses and assemblies, and other worthwhile projects. These student leaders serve as positive role models for the school community.
Sacred Hearts Academic Bowl
The Academic Bowl is a competition where students with academic talents may mix and share experiences. Participating schools field a team of 7th and 8th graders for the Senior Division, while the Junior Division consists of 5th and 6th graders.
Grade 8 Yearbook Committee
Eighth grade students use a web-based program to design and produce a glossy, full-color school yearbook that contains pictures of all students and faculty, as well as candids of school events, daily life, and other fun pages. It's a great momento of the school year, and a fun way to look back and "...remember when..."!
