Diversity & Antibullying Presentations

SHS was fortunate to have three very insightful presentations on Monday for Catholic Schools Week: The pre-k thru 1st grade enjoyed a presentation by Sherry Cirone, author and founder of Ella's Way. The children delighted in the reading of her book, "Ella & The All-Stars". Grades 2-4 were treated to a presentation by current parent and author, Mrs. Raquel Quezada. Mrs. Quezada is the author of "Breaking the Barriers of Disabilities." She spoke about inclusion of those who may be different due to disabilities and had a meanginful impact on the children. The older students in grades 5-8 learned some strategies and ideas regarding antibullying from Officer Gillian Privitera and the Haverhill Police Department.
